How to get to La Pilastra from the Puente Nuevo
La Pilastra is at Calle Armiñán, 1, at the old-town end of the Puente Nuevo, beside the Mirador de Aldehuela. From central Ronda it is a short walk: cross the bridge from Plaza de España and the door is where the street begins.

On foot from the Puente Nuevo
Plaza de España, in the El Mercadillo part of town, leads straight onto the Puente Nuevo. Cross it towards La Ciudad, the old town: on the far side Calle Armiñán begins, with the Mirador de Aldehuela beside it. La Pilastra is right there, at number 1.
If you are coming from the bullring or the shopping streets in the centre, head for Plaza de España and follow the same route. For directions from wherever you are, open our location in Google Maps.

From the train or bus station
Ronda’s train and bus stations are in the newer part of town. From either one you can walk to the centre by heading for Plaza de España and the Puente Nuevo; with luggage, a taxi to the bridge may be easier.
Timetables change with the season, so check them with Renfe or the companies that run services from the bus station. The Turismo de Ronda website has practical information for planning your arrival.

By car
Drive into central Ronda, leave the car in a public car park and finish the journey on foot to the Puente Nuevo. The streets around the bridge and the old town are busy with pedestrians and vehicle access may be restricted, so do not count on parking outside.
At weekends and in high season it takes longer to find a space, so allow time before your booking. If you are driving in through the mountains, the roads are winding and best taken unhurriedly.
Coming on a day trip
If you are planning the whole day, our guides to Ronda from Malaga and from Seville help you shape the route and decide when to stop for lunch. To see what is right next to the restaurant, read the Mirador de Aldehuela guide.

Can I drive right up to the door?
It is not advisable: the area around the Puente Nuevo is very pedestrian and traffic in the old town may be restricted. It is easier to park in the centre and walk.
Do I need to cross the Puente Nuevo to get there?
If you are coming from El Mercadillo, Plaza de España or the stations, yes: La Pilastra is just across the bridge, where Calle Armiñán begins.
